Home movie footage filmed by Capt. C.R. Pelletier - Communications Co, HQ Bn, 1st Marine Div, 1969-70.

You'll see panning shots filmed from Hai Van Pass, with views of the mountains, Hwy 1A, and the South China Sea below. There's footage filmed while driving along the highway, through the countryside and the streets of DaNang, and panning views from a hilltop base. You'll see a Division Change of Command Ceremony and later, "Tanks Last Ceremony" with the South Vietnamese Army. Christmas '69 is celebrated by the Comm. Company with a game of horse-shoes, food and drink. You'll go on a road-trip to LZ Baldy (Hill 63), and see some footage shot at Hill 55 and Hill 34, visit China Beach, and the Marble Mountain area.
